We are a premium boutique Law Firm. For more than fourth decades we have focused on attending the needs of our clients in an integral and personalized manner, while satisfying promptly and effectively all their legal requirements.

When our founding partner, Jorge Granados, established GM Attorneys in 1978, it was only him and his secretary in an office in San Jose, personally serving each client. In 1979 he partnered with another lawyer. At that time it was not conceptualized that a lawyer - even if he was just a graduate - worked as an assistant to another lawyer.It was clear that by the end of the 80s, in Costa Rica, different lawyers, who were associated to share expenses, many of them had young lawyers, as their assistants. However, the concept of a law firm, as such, was not known, as it is today.

In 2003, our founding partner, Jorge Granados, made the decision to give a different dimension to what, until then, was his law office, and decided to open a new office in Playa Flamingo, Guanacaste. So for what seemed like an adventure, since he was the first lawyer in San Jose to open a permanent office in Guanacaste, the office was successful, since there was even another office in Tamarindo. Of course, the old concept of the lawyer with a secretary had been far behind, the times had changed and it was necessary to form a team of lawyers, under the concept of "Firm", that regardless of the professional who was attending the case in particular, true reflection of the efficiency and honorability standards of the GM Attorneys. Currently, GM Attorneys has 4 offices: San José, Flamingo Beach, Tamarindo and Nosara, under the concept of boutique office, where they have been integrated as major work colleagues in the last 16 years, attorneys Adriana Cordero and Iván Granados, the latter as the managing partner. These two colleagues along with the lawyers Mariajosé Víquez, Andrea Jara and recently Brians Salazar, who together with a group of trained paralegals and assistants, give life to our boutique law firm, practicing a unique slogan from the beginning : "Responsiveness without haste”. Since 1978 we have veiled to become a business ally for our clients, offering them the best legal advice through a highly trained team, which allows us to provide a comprehensive analysis of each client’s particular situation, offering quick and effective solutions.
